With great pleasure we welcome you to the Joint Congress of the 15th International Union against Sexually Transmitted Infections (IUSTI) Asia Pacific Congress and the 2nd Annual International Infectious Disease Congress, which will be held 3- 5 February 2008, in Dubai, under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and in cooperation with the International Union against Sexually Transmitted Infections (IUSTI) and the Department of Health and Medical Services, Dubai UAE.

Sexually transmitted infections knows no boundaries and inflicts harm to mankind, our meeting is geared to support us in challenging these diseases and together build international strategies that ensure the prevention of these diseases and develop the right treatment modalities for a continuous fight between mankind and disease. We trust that the congress will generate the right awareness among the nations to face and combat these diseases. Your participation in the scientific program will enrich our meeting and will give us the opportunity to share our knowledge, expertise and experiences. Thus, we have selected: “Together we bridge the gap” as the theme of the congress as a reflection of the main goal for our congress during 2008.
